Greater Brisbane
The Greater Brisbane region spans from Caboolture in the north to Loganlea in the south and as far west as Ipswich. No matter which part of Brisbane you call home there's a campus near you — with locations in Grovely, Inala, Mt Gravatt, Redcliffe, Springfield and South Bank. The Greater Brisbane region also incorporates specialised trade training facilities in Acacia Ridge, Alexandra Hills, Bracken Ridge and Eagle Farm.
TAFE Queensland offers a wide range of study areas throughout the Greater Brisbane area including agriculture and horticulture, animal studies, automotive, aviation, beauty and hairdressing, building and construction, business and justice, child care, community services, electrotechnology and utilities, engineering, general education and training, hospitality and cookery, information technology, manufacturing and design, nursing and health, resources and mining, sports and fitness, tourism and events, and visual and creative arts.
The Acacia Ridge campus is our flagship trade training centre spanning more than 22 hectares.

Located 20 kilometres north of Brisbane our Bracken Ridge campus is surrounded by green parks, bikeways, and walkways.
Caboolture shares its campus with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC), offering both university and vocational courses from the one location.
Our Eagle Farm campus is located on the north side of the city approximately nine kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.
Our Grovely campus is renowned for the delivery of courses in horticulture and animal studies.

Our Mt Gravatt campus is located just 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, offering students in Brisbane's south side a convenient location to pursue their study goals.
Our Redcliffe campus offers a relaxed learning environment within easy walking distance of the Redcliffe business area and nearby beach.
Our South Bank campus is located in the heart of Brisbane's arts and cultural precinct adjacent to art galleries, performing arts venues, museum, and the State Library.
Our Springfield campus is located within Education City, a central nucleus for education in the greater Springfield area.




Automotive workshops
With over $90 million invested in our automotive training facilities, we are well-appointed to deliver industry-relevant training to the auto technicians of the future. Our automotive facilities include air-conditioned classrooms and workshops equipped with the latest technology and gear. We have specialised training rooms for diesel fuel, hydraulics, and automotive electrical and air-conditioning and equipment including engine and chassis dynamometers, state-of-the-art wheel alignment and brake testing stations, and new truck and car donations from Iveco, Mack, Kenworth, Komatsu, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler and Holden.
Hairdressing salons
Our modern, purpose-built salons give our hairdressing students an opportunity to put theory into practice and gain practical skills in a real-world environment. The fully-operational salons are set up like a real life hairdressing salon and include a full range of hairdressing tools and equipment including training mannequins for students to practice their styling techniques. We use the same products and facilities found in a real salon and offer a range of services such as styling, cutting, colouring, perming, and chemical straightening to paying clients. You can find our hairdressing salons at our Caboolture, Loganlea, and South Bank campuses.
Simulated clinical wards
TAFE Queensland has worked closely with leading medical organisations and hospitals to develop up-to-date, practical nurse training. At our South Bank campus you'll have access to purpose-built training facilities. Our hospital-standard clinical nursing simulation room is equipped with electric beds, vital signs monitors, ECG machines, IV trolleys and responsive simulator mannequins. Prepare yourself for real-world situations and practice on state-of-the-art equipment under the supervision of industry professionals.
Pet grooming salon
Our animal studies students gain practical experience pampering and grooming animals for paying customers in our open-to-the-public pet grooming salon our Grovely campus. The salon has all the same facilities, equipment, and products used in a real pet grooming facility, including hydrobaths, clipping equipment, hydraulic tables, and drying equipment. Gain experience across a full range of pet grooming treatments including bathing, clipping, and flea control and learn how to capture, handle, and transport animals, apply basic first aid, and monitor animal health and wellbeing.
